Supplies Needed:

45" wide cotton fabrics

7/8 yd print #1
1/2"yd print #2

1 3/8" ribbon,rickrack or lace.

Step One:

With right sides together pin one long edge of pillow band to edges of main pillow piece, sew,using a 1/2" seam.

Step Two:

With pillow panel right side up, center ribbon or rickrack over the seam. If using lace, stitch to edge piece before stitching to main pillow piece, so lace is in seam. Press seam to one side.

Step Three:

Fold the pillowcase right side together, stitch across the raw edge of pillow using a 1/2' seam. Pivot at corner and sew down long side.

Step Four:

Fold band to the inside and slip stitch in place.

Step Five:

These are made using kids print, but you could use a fabric that matches your bedroom and have a custom made look.
