Step One: Complete a second knot along side the first knot.
|

Step Two: For outer petals bring needle from right side of pleat to left leave needle in the fabric.
|
|
Step Three: Make sure the wrap starts as close to pleat as possible.
|
|
Step Four: Wrap needle clockwise 12 times pull needle through thread insert needle to back anchor thread.
|
|
Step Five: Bring needle up on left side of pleat. Insert needle on right side of pleat to the left. Leave needle in fabric.

Step Six: Wrap needle 12 times. Pull needle through.
|
|
Step Seven: Insert needle at point shown. Anchor on back of fabric.

|
Step Eight: Completed knot.
|
|
Step Nine: Bring needle up on left side of pleat. Bring needle down on left side of pleat. Complete knot, anchor thread.

Step Ten: Bring needle up on right side of the pleat.
|
|
Step Eleven: Bring needle up on right side of pleat. Bring needle through left side of pleat.
|
|
Step Twelve: Complete stitch by putting needle through left hand side of pleat Bring up on right side.
|

Step Thirteen: Bring needle up on right side of pleat. Tuck petal inside first outer petal.

|
Step Fourteen: Complete knot then anchor.
|
|
Step Fifteen: Finished rose.
